iGaming brought in $240.6 million of Michigan’s $285.2 million in gross online gambling revenue in June. FanDuel and MotorCity Casino continued to dominate, even though their record was slightly lower than May’s. Taxes paid reached over $64 million.

Online gambling in Michigan June
In June, Michigan’s gross online gambling revenue from sports betting and iGaming reached $285.2 million, the second-highest monthly total in the state’s regulated market’s history.
According to the Michigan Gaming Control Board, the June total was less than the record $301.4 million achieved in May of this year. But that was 40.8% more than the $214.1 million collected the previous year.
June’s adjusted gross receipts, after promotional expenditures, came to $256.5 million. Last year, this was 5.6% behind.

Double-digit expansion for iGaming in Michigan
When broken down, iGaming generated $240.6 million in gross income per month, a 31.3% increase from the previous year. However, adjusted gross revenue decreased 4.3% to $226 million.
In June, FanDuel and MotorCity Casino dominated the Michigan market. The partnership generated gross receipts of $62.3 million and adjusted gross receipts of $58.6 million.
With a $60.3 million/$56.7 million split, FanDuel and MotorCity Casino, which had been rated #1 in May, came in second. With a $38.7 million and $36.4 million split, DraftKings and the Bay Mills Indian Community came in third.
$47.1 million was paid in commercial iGaming taxes throughout the month. Tribal operators paid government bodies $5.8 million, while Detroit received an additional $11.8 million.
