Caesars Sportsbook Accepts the First Oregon Sports Wager at Ko-kwel Casino Resort

Caesars Sportsbook has opened kiosks at Ko-Kwel Casino as part of a partnership with the Coquille Tribe to enter the Oregon market. Local bettors now have more betting options thanks to the move, including full college sports.

Caesars Online Sportsbook is a new online sports betting operator in Oregon. Caesars Sportsbook began collecting bets on Monday, owing to a collaboration with the Coquille Tribe at the Ko-Kwel Casino Resort in Coos Bay.

“We remain committed to supporting Indian gaming, and we’re proud to partner with the Coquille Indian Tribe to enhance their guest experience,” said Caesars digital president Eric Hession in a statement.

“Bringing our sports wagering offering to a new jurisdiction for the first time is always significant, and we know offering our expansive menu of sports wagering markets will undoubtedly enhance the exceptional experience that the Coquille Indian Tribe provides to its guests.”

Caesars becomes the third sports betting site available in Oregon, following DraftKings and BetMGM. The sportsbook began collecting wagers through a slew of self-service sports betting kiosks that just emerged on the casino floor at Ko-Kwel.

Users aged 21 and above can gamble on any game, whether in-state, nationally, or internationally. Caesars states that it has “unmatched full college sports offerings that are not otherwise available on a statewide mobile basis in Oregon.”

“We are proud to have this iconic gaming brand join us, as both brands have represented excellence in the industry for decades,” said Margaret Simpson, corporate executive of Coquille Economic Development. This agreement is ideally aligned with our aim to expand gaming possibilities and increase visitor happiness.

“We are excited to collaborate with such a distinguished brand and look forward to creating even more memorable sports wagering experiences for our guests.”
