Gambling reached all-time highs due to sports betting. Arizona joins the anti-underage play campaign

Americans are now gambling at unprecedented levels since sports betting was made legal in Arizona and the majority of the nation.

However, under-21-year-olds are still prohibited from doing so, and the state is starting a campaign to emphasize this.

A nationwide initiative to address compulsive gambling includes the Too Young To Bet campaign. Research on child gaming is lacking, according to a state Gaming Department official.

Although Arizona-specific data on underage betting is not accessible, children may attempt to place bets via a parent’s mobile device.

According to the evidence that is available, advertisements and family members are exposing young people to gambling at an earlier age.

Unlicensed gambling sites, which could facilitate betting by minors, are a major worry for state regulators.
