In October, Pennsylvania gaming income reached $597 million thanks to record-breaking gaming outcomes.

On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced that revenue from all types of gaming and fantasy competitions in October was $597 million, up 20.2% from the previous year.

The majority of the gain, according to the study, was driven by igaming income of $251.1 million, which surpassed the previous high of $238.2 million recorded in March and set a record for that type of gambling.

Leading state operators was Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville, which brought in $114.4 million in October, up 38.7% from $82.5 million in October 2024. King of Prussia’s Valley Forge Casino Resort recorded revenue of $101.3 million, up 25.2% from $80.9 million the previous year. Compared to the $53 million earned in October 2024, Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported $57.4 million, an 8.3% gain. Philadelphia’s Parx Casino reported $56.1 million in October, up 8.8% from the previous year.

Slot machine revenue increased 1.4% year over year to $203.5 million. With slot revenue of $31.2 million, down 0.3% from $31.3 million, Parx Casino led all Pennsylvania operators. Slot machine revenue at Wind Creek Bethlehem was $22.5 million, a 4% decrease from $23.4 million the previous year. Rivers Casino Pittsburgh made $21 million, down 1.1% from $21.2 million the previous year.

The majority of Pennsylvania’s igaming operators witnessed rises with the $251.1 million in revenue. Penn National’s Hollywood Casino brought in $98.7 million, a 42.2% increase. Rivers Casino Philadelphia generated $38.2 million, up 15%, while Valley Forge Casino Resort earned $71.4 million, up 37.5%.

Based on a handle of $968.5 million, sports betting in October brought in $60.7 million. With a handle of $300.1 million, Hollywood Casino at the Meadows in Meadowlands made the highest money ($21.8 million). With a handle of $357.6 million, Valley Forge Casino Resort recorded $18.2 million in sports betting income in October. With a handle of $59.8 million, Hollywood Casino Morgantown reported $3.9 million in income.
