This September marks two years since Kentucky legalized sports gambling. The Mint Gaming Hall at Kentucky Downs will unveil the state’s largest retail sportsbook late this summer.
Circa Sports Kentucky’s newest venue will feature an 80-foot-wide LED screen, a 31-foot-wide odds board, and over 5,100 square feet geared toward the ultimate gameday experience. There will be 113 stadium-style seats, luxury recliners, and three tiers of booth-style seating. You won’t have to go far to place your bets. The sportsbook will feature five staffed betting stations, including an ADA-accessible station, and four self-service kiosks. Three additional self-service kiosks will be located within The Mint Kentucky Downs casino. There will also be an AVSiN (Vegas Stats & Information Network) broadcast studio, where live on-air talent, analysis, and gameday content will be captured daily.

In a news statement, Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens emphasized Circa’s success in Kentucky during the previous year, as well as the company’s closeness to Nashville, which is only 35 miles away. Tennessee only allows online sports betting; thus, this is the nearest retail sportsbook to Music City.
