The adjusted gross income for Missouri casinos in April 2025 was $169.1 million, up 9% from the year before. Harrah’s KC topped with a 47% gain in revenue, while four other casinos had modest declines.
In April, Missouri casinos made $169.1 million in adjusted gross revenue, which was 9% more than the $155.8 million they made in April 2024.
Missouri Riverboat’s 1.5% increase in revenue over the previous year in March was followed by the increase in year-over-year revenues.
According to the Missouri Gaming Commission report, Ameristar SC was the 13 casinos’ largest donor, bringing in $26.2 million in April, a 9% increase.
Hollywood Casino and River City were the only two other casinos to make above $20 million. Hollywood Casino experienced a 10% increase in revenue compared to April 2024, while River City saw a 7% year-over-year increase to $22.6 million.
That advantage, however, was insignificant in comparison to the largest revenue boost, which saw adjusted gross revenue at Harrah’s KC soar 47% year over year.
The April revenue decline for St. Jo Frontier Casino was less than 1%, and just four casinos had a year-over-year decline. Argosy Casino and Mark Twain Casino had a 4% decline in revenue over the previous year. With an 11% year-over-year drop in revenue, Century Cape Casino had the worst fall.
