Two ballot proposals to allow online sports betting in the Cornhusker State have been filed by casino owners in Nebraska.
The petitions for the November election were sent to the Nebraska Secretary of State’s Office on Friday, according to Lynne McNally, director of government relations at WarHorse Casino and CEO of the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association. WarHorse and the Sports Betting Alliance, an alliance of multiple national sports betting firms, are supporting the initiative.
The petition was not yet listed among those being circulated for the 2026 election on the Nebraska Secretary of State’s website as of Monday night.
