In preparation for the legalization of sports betting in California, the Hard Rock Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain has opened a new sports bar.
Gambling and watching the big game should go hand in hand for Northern California casino patrons. As the casino gets ready for the potential of sports betting, the new sports bar is merely a preview of what might happen in the future.
“We are aware of its impending arrival. With that chance, California will undoubtedly be the largest state in the nation,” stated Mark Birtha, president of the casino.
According to Birtha, the bar was designed to accommodate sports betting, and they are ready to transform it when the time comes.
“We have built this in a manner that as soon as we know that it is approved legislatively, we will be able to convert it to phase two and then have the ability to have kiosks in a sports betting window and the ability to begin to offer that amenity when the time comes,” Birtha stated.
In order to make sports betting a reality soon, the Enterprise Rancheria is working with legislators and other tribes. Birtha highlighted the tribe’s dedication to the region.
“The Enterprise Rancheria tribe, they’ve been committed to reinvesting in the property, creating new jobs, building economic development in the region, and making sure that we continue to have an impact,” Birtha stated.
