Since no one matched all six numbers on Saturday night, the Powerball prize has increased to an estimated $65 million for the February 2 drawing. Lottery players across the country are once again interested in the increasing prize.
The national Powerball lottery did not have a grand prize winner on Saturday.
The Multi-State Lottery Association states that the Powerball lottery numbers were:
Powerball 23, Power Play 3x, 2-8-14-40-63.
The Mega Millions figures for Friday were:
11, 34, 36, 43, Mega Ball 13.
The estimated value of Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is $323 million ($145.7 million in cash).
The state-run Arkansas Scholarship Lottery is responsible for running the Mega Millions, Powerball, and scratch-off ticket lotteries in Arkansas. Less than 19 percent of the lottery’s gross revenues are allocated to college scholarships, despite the fact that the Arkansas lottery was established to gather funds for these purposes. The remaining funds are used to cover operating expenditures, advertising, lottery rewards, and administrative expenses.
