Rhode Island’s April 2025 iGaming revenue was $4.7 million, a 128% YoY increase. With $3.6M, slots took the lead, while table games saw a monthly drop. A bill to limit gambling age is being reexamined.
Rhode Island’s online gaming income reached US$4.7 million this month, the second highest total since the state became the eighth to debut igaming in March 2024.
This month’s amount is also 128% more than last year, when it was US$2 million.
According to a Rhode Island Lottery report, slots accounted for the vast bulk of combined net gaming income, totaling US$3.6 million. This was up from April 2024, when it recorded US$1.3 million in NGR, representing a 171.1% year-over-year gain.

Table games also had a rise in NGR in April, jumping from US$740,579 to US$1.1 million, a 50% year-on-year gain.
Compared to March 2025, when the state recorded the greatest igaming income number, NGR fell from US$5.1 million to US$4.7 million, a 7.3% reduction month on month.
Table games NGR also fell month on month, from US$1.5 million to US$1.1 million, while slots revenue increased from US$3.5 million to $3.6 million.
In recent news, a Rhode Island measure seeking to prohibit internet gambling for persons under the age of 21 has been set for reconsideration after being rejected in the House Judiciary Committee. The measure was slated for a re-vote on April 29.
