Manchester United have submitted a third bid worth £65m plus £5m in add-ons for Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo. The 25-year-old Cameroon international has been their top target this summer, with Brentford now reportedly holding out for £70m. United’s previous two offers were rejected last month.
After sealing Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5m, the Red Devils are still hunting a marquee striker. They’ve been keeping close tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike and are reportedly considering a player-plus-cash deal. Ekitike is also wanted by Liverpool and Newcastle, with Frankfurt valuing him at £85m.
Barcelona have reportedly made a loan offer for Marcus Rashford with a conditional purchase clause. However, United are looking to sell him outright for €45m. Juventus have also entered the race for the 27-year-old forward.
Juventus have held positive talks with United and Jadon Sancho’s camp. The Italian giants are waiting to finalise the sale of Nico González before making a formal move for the winger, who spent last season on loan at Chelsea.

Aston Villa have registered interest in United winger Alejandro Garnacho. Chelsea and Spurs are also monitoring the 21-year-old, who is open to staying in the Premier League despite overseas offers from Napoli and Atlético Madrid.
