When the prediction market reopens in the United States, PrizePicks, a daily fantasy sports operator, will provide its clients with access to Polymarket’s sports event contracts.
Following PrizePicks’ permission to become a futures commission merchant (FCM) by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the National Futures Association (NFA), the arrangement was made public through a press release on Tuesday.
Contracts made by a CFTC-registered exchange may be made available to users by an FCM. Robinhood, which provides its customers with access to Kalshi’s contracts and accounts for around half of Kalshi’s volume, is currently the most well-known FCM in prediction markets.
Customers would have access to “a wide range of sports, entertainment, and cultural moments,” according to PrizePicks.

In a statement, PrizePicks CEO Mike Ybarra said, “As the top daily fantasy sports operator in the United States, PrizePicks is thrilled to partner with Polymarket, a trailblazer in the prediction space, to open up new experiences for our millions of existing members and introduce our platform to millions of new customers.”
Polymarket may soon reopen in the US.
The partnership comes as Polymarket prepares to reenter the U.S. market. Polymarket presently restricts all clients from outside the U.S. on its worldwide site, but it bought a CFTC-registered exchange in July and has set to work on launching a separate U.S. offering.
Since self-certifications are not being processed, the exchange has been unable to initiate new contracts on its CFTC-registered website, so rendering it inoperable until the federal government resumes operations, as reported by InGame last month. However, with the shutdown likely drawing a finish, Polymarket’s reintroduction could be coming shortly.
Polymarket’s U.S. product was defined as “soon-to-launch” in the press release on Tuesday.
